You could receive up to $16,000.00 making the switch much easier and affordable!

Financing options are available on all our installations! We at Pacific Rim Heat Pumps are happy to provide you with an option to upgrade your home and slowly pay it off. We have partnered with Financeit to offer convenient ways for you to pay it off.

FortisBC

Rebates for HVAC Upgrades

FortisBC offers rebates to encourage the upgrade to more energy-

efficient HVAC systems, such as:

  • High-efficiency natural gas furnaces

  • ENERGY STAR® certified heat pumps

  • Boilers and water heaters

  • Smart thermostats

CleanBC

CleanBC Energy Savings Program (Income‑Qualified)

  • Covers 100% of heat pump costs (up to caps), with higher rebates—up to $16,000, and extra $3,000 

  • Pre-registration and income thresholds apply ​

BC Hydro

Rebates for Heat Pump Installation

BC Hydro offers rebates of up to $6,000 (or more when stacked with CleanBC and federal incentives) for installing eligible energy-efficient heat pumps:

  • Central ducted heat pumps

  • Mini-split ductless systems

  • Dual-fuel systems

To qualify:

  • You must currently heat your home with electricity

  • The system must meet specific efficiency ratings

  • Installation must be done by a qualified HPCN contractor​

Canada Greener Homes Loan

  • KEY DETAILS

  • Loan amount: $5,000 – $40,000

  • Interest rate: 0% over a 10-year term 

  • Unsecured: No collateral required, but it does appear on your credit report

  • One loan per property/homeowner 

  • ​

  • WHO IS ELIGIBLE

  • Own and live in the property as your main residence

  • Have completed a pre-retrofit EnerGuide evaluation (on or after Apr 1, 2020)

  • Plan at least one eligible retrofit recommended in that evaluation

  • Not have started those retrofits before applying

  • Be in good credit standing (no bankruptcy, consumer proposal, etc.)
